The Kumson Team put in the work and kicked gass at the very first Conlon Motorsports Leduc ATV & SxS Race hosted at the RAD Torque Raceway 🏁
The event was run as time trials, with all youth racers placed into a single class. The competition was tight - the fastest lap across all entries was a blazing 1:21, showing just how close our kids are to the adult classes!! A+ effort from the whole crew! 🏆🔥
It was an awesome day of racing, with some familiar faces from the Triple Crown race series, and building momentum for what’s to come. Huge thanks to the organizers for putting together such a great local event! We can’t wait to come back and do it again! 🙌🏾❤️
Isaac was dialled in, pushing hard every lap and laying down a fastest time of 1:35. That was good enough to secure the win in the youth class.
Theo came into the event nursing a sprained wrist, but he powered through clocking a 1:48, and locked in 2nd place in the youth class. True grit and heart on display.
Savannah finally got to make her 2025 debut, and she came out smiling with zero issues with the ride! She pulled a 1:56 lap time in her first outing, showing she hasn’t lost a step. We’ve got exciting plans this winter to get her back on track full-time in 2026!
The boys closed out the 2025 Triple Crown Race Series on top of their classes and they couldn’t have asked for a better finale than at their favourite track in Cold Lake!
They came in fully charged and ready for Rounds 5 and 6, having a weekend of kickin’ gass and havin’ fun with friends and fans trackside. With great battles and big air they finished the season with style, speed, and smiles.
A huge thank you to all the series sponsors and volunteers, as well as MNP and the Robert Coates family for sponsoring the amazing end-of-season trophies. Massive shoutout to the Cold Lake Motocross Association for the best track conditions we’ve seen all year, truly A++ work. Endless thanks to all our team sponsors and supporters. You are the best what a MX season! 🏁
Isaac was locked in from the very first gate drop on Saturday, flowing through his favourite track with confidence and style. He went 1-1 in Round 5, sending huge jumps and keeping a smooth, fast rhythm the whole day.
On Sunday, he started strong with another Moto 1 win, even after bending his axle mid-race landing a jump. Thanks to quick work from the best two pit crew girls around, the axle was swapped in just 15 minutes and Isaac made the most of the fix. In the final moto of the season, he threw down big air, nailed every section, and crossed the line all smiles. A perfect way to wrap up his year.
Theo came out swinging in Round 5, leading his class even after a getting hurt on Lap 1 of Moto 1, when he landed awkwardly on the finish line jump. Despite the pain, he pushed through and still went 1-1 for the day before resting up for Sunday.
By Round 6, Theo was fully recharged and ready to rip. He dominated both motos from the start, even pulling wheelies out of the gate and charging through every section of the track. No one could catch our #9 and it was the kind of performance that shows exactly why this is his year.
Round 3 of the Triple Crown Race Series took us to Wild Rose MX in Calgary, and what a day it was! After heavy rain the night before, the track crew worked hard to salvage the day, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The youth riders ran on the small track, and the boys made the most of it, putting on a show from start to finish.
We had the pleasure of having in Travis from Base Camp Media, representing Wild TV, who came out to capture video footage and B-roll for an exciting upcoming project. Stay tuned for more. Huge shoutout to our sponsor Advanced Parts Engineering for stopping by the track to support the boys, check out the new build, and drop off some awesome goodies. We’re always grateful for the backing from such solid partners. Big thanks to Matt Piotrowski Photography for snapping an incredible shot of Isaac this weekend, we’re pretty sure we see a new team shirt in the making 👀🔥
We were all set for Round 4 but we got rained out 😭. Big thanks to the volunteers and crew who did their best to make it happen, Mother Nature had other plans ⛈️.
We’ll see everyone in Cold Lake for the final rounds of MX racing! 🏁
Isaac was absolutely locked in this weekend, running hard and leading the field in both motos. He went 1-1 for the day, riding smooth and consistent the entire time. He came off the track with a huge smile and was ready for more laps. This is the kind of energy and passion we love to see from him just pure racing joy.
Theo found his groove early and was flying all day. He led his class and made it clear that he’s out there to dominate. Theo was “kickin’ some gass and havin’ fun” and it’s clear this is shaping up to be his year. He’s confident, fast, and putting on a show every time the gate drops!
The 2025 race season is officially underway! We kicked off Season 5 with Rounds 1 and 2 of the Triple Crown Race Series at Medicine Hat Motocross, and the Kumson Electric Race Team came out ready. The boys rode hard, had fun, and started the season strong kickin’ gass right from the first gate drop! It all went down over Father’s Day weekend, which made it even more special. We’re lucky to have the best dad in the game as the heart behind the team. From building machines and designing the conversions, to planning every detail and keeping things rolling, none of this would happen without him and we couldn’t be more grateful. Big thanks to all our sponsors, supporters, and family your love keeps the wheels turning 🙌🏾 It’s a great start, and we’re just getting warmed up.
More to come this season!
Isaac had a strong showing all weekend! Round 1 started off great with solid riding, but he jammed his thumb in Moto 1. Moto 2, he ran into some lap traffic and ended up finishing with a 2nd Overall.
Round 2, Isaac had another challenging day but held up and showed them what he got. Isaac was leading Moto 1 until his chain came off on the last lap (we’ll take the blame for that one — Dad’s fault 😅), finishing 4th. He came back in Moto 2 ready to fight. He got tangled up in the start and had to hunt them down to climb his way to the top, finishing 1st. That gave him a 2nd Overall in ATV Novice for the weekend, showing real heart and determination in the first outings of the season.
Theo came out firing for the season opener! In Round 1, he absolutely launched out of the gate, grabbing both holeshots and chased down the Upper Class, running with them. He kept the pressure on and finished the day with a solid 1st Overall.
Round 2, Theo was still on fire and he grabbed another set of holeshots, leading the pack again even while running with a Higher Class. He went 1–1 for the second day in a row, locking down 1st Overall in ATV Sportsman for the weekend and setting the tone for the season. We don’t know what’s gotten into Theo, but this kid is blowing our minds and we couldn’t be happier!
